What Hindsight is
Hindsight is software that connects to your email accounts, reads transactional email, and produces a categorized ledger plus insights about your spending. It is not a bank, a broker, a tax preparer, a CA, or an investment adviser. We do not hold your money. We do not execute trades. We do not file your taxes for you.
Acceptable use
You may only connect email accounts and bank accounts that belong to you or that you are explicitly authorized to access. You may not use Hindsight to process data of other people without their consent.
No financial advice
Insights are decision support, not financial advice. We surface patterns and suggest actions; the decision is yours. We do not provide investment advice, securities recommendations, or tax filings. Always consult a licensed CA or financial advisor for advice specific to your situation.
Limitation of liability
Our liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Hindsight is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Hindsight is provided "as is" without warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Cancellation and refunds
Cancel anytime from /app/settings. Pro-rated refunds for the unused portion of the current billing cycle, processed within 7 working days.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai. US-resident users have additional consumer-protection rights under their state laws that these terms do not override.
